Protesting for What's Right

I got the chance to go to my first protest with my family. We were protesting for all of the unarmed black men who have been unjustly killed by police officers, as they can no longer speak for themselves. 

I made the sign below and my mom's sign (third from the left) and Alani and Kailyn (last two on the right) made their own signs. I used a quote from Michael Jackson's song They Don't Care About Us. 

We heard speakers and then marched, and it is an experience that I would definitely do again. I got to fight for something that I believe, and in my own way.
